Harry Maguire revealed he will no longer be the captain of Manchester United following discussions with manager, Erik ten Hag. Maguire confirmed this in a statement on his Facebook post.

The England Center back has been stripped off the captaincy position by Man Utd manager, Erik Ten Hag. 


In a classy reaction on what could be considered an emotional day for Harry Maguire, the Manchester United captain posted a statement on his official social media handles confirming the new development.

According to Sky Sports, Harry Maguire is considering his options after having the Man Utd captaincy stripped from him by Erik ten Hag. The England International hasn’t had the easiest time at Manchester United since his £ 80million move. 


It appears the embattled defender is still a man in demand. Chelsea are rumoured to be considering a summer move for Harry Maguire after his axing as Man United captain.

Harry Maguire said he was personally "extremely disappointed" But re-affirmes he will continue to give his all every time he wears the shirt.
As per reports, Maguire who is 'Angry, shocked and upset’ by the news decision is ready to leave Man Utd after being stripped of the captain’s armband.
