Latest drama surrounding Romelu Lukaku after Inter end talks to sign the Belgian according to reports.

Chelsea may we be on the wrong end of things in regards to the latest drama surrounding Romelu Lukaku following reports Inter end talks to sign the Belgian.

Lukaku spent last season with the Nerazzuri but he was however not able to reproduce the fine form in his first spell with the club following and injury plagued campaign.

Piero Ausillio, Inter’s director spoke of the club’s intentions to sign Lukaku, earlier this month. However, there appears to be a change of intention on Inter’s side following the latest development of the things surrounding the transfer.

It is therefore pertinent to clarify the shocking situation concerning Romelu Lukaku and Inter Milan. According to football insider Fabrizio Romano, Inter have backed off from talks to sign Romelu Lukaku. The deal between Inter and Chelsea is 100% off. That is the shocking event of things at the moment, as the Nerazzuri are now exploring other striking options. 

Inter were close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea fc for Lukaku - The Nerazzuri had a deal on the table worth €35m plus add-ons, which was imminent. Inter was prepared to submit a final bid for the transfer of Lukaku, which Chelsea was ready to accept. 

Lukaku then gave Inter a shocker and left them furious. The Seria A giants found out that the people on the camp of the Belgian were also negotiating with Juventus. This shocking revelation about the Juventus talks caused them to opt out of the negotiations.

As per Sources in Italy, Inter Milan are not only pulling out of the race to sign Romelu Lukaku and, furthermore, it is believed that the Belgian is now in dispute with one side of his camp. 

Inter did their best for Lukaku by re-signing him from Chelsea fc for a big loan fee and paying his big wages. The Nerazzuri also did their best to support him through a difficult moment in his career, when he was injured. The Inter move is now regarded to be completely dead.

As things stands, Romelu Lukaku will return to Chelsea. The Player is due to be back at his parent club on Monday but the expectation has been that he won’t travel with the team for pre-season. He will arrive after the Blues squad have travelled to the US for pre-season tour on Monday with their new head coach, Mauricio Pochettino. 

In spite of having a contract which remains valid until 2026 with Chelsea FC, Lukaku does not seem to have a future at Stamford Bridge, as the club was keen to have Inter acquire him permanently. Pochettino is 100% aligned with the board with getting €40m for him is the priorities now.

Lukaku had been required to stay away from Chelsea FC totally, but the recent turn of events now means he will need somewhere to train properly while all sides try to negotiate for a suitable move.

Full focus is now on trying to negotiate a deal with Juventus. We understand that both player and family, his management, Roc Nation, including his lawyer, are all working together in a bid to try and end the saga. 

Inter’s lukaku deal is off. Juventus stance depends on the sale of Vlahovic. Meanwhile Saudi counterparts are still waiting and hoping.
