𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒: Benjamin Mendy found not guilty
Benjamin Mendy was yesterday cleared of all assault charges and declared not guilty. The former Manchester City left back has been found not guilty of any sexual offenses by a jury at Chester Crown Court, in England.
Sky Sports disclosed that he (Benjamin Mendy) was discharged of the remaining two cases by a jury of six men and six women. He was discovered not to be guilty of rape and attempted rape by the of six men and six women jury at Chester Crown Court.

The France international was charged with the raping of a 24-year-old woman at his multi-million-pound mansion in Cheshire in October 2020. Mendy had earlier rejected both charges, maintaining that the encounters were consensual.
Paul Pogba, Mendy’s compatriot and international teammate was quick to speak to the Former Manchester City footballer after the verdict was delivered at the Cheshire Crown Court yesterday, where Mendy was left in tears as per Sun Sport.
The former Manchester United midfielder reached out to his friend via Facetime and it was pleasing to see Benjamin Mendy was all smiles during the conversation. The Juventus star shared the screenshot on Instagram with a powerful caption.
Benjamin had a one-word answer to give as he was leaving the court after he was given a not-guilty verdict yesterday. Mendy however, declined answering other questions when asked for comments.
The French defender said "Alhamdulillah" refusing to give answers to other questions and emotionally moved away while battling to keep his tears.
